Preparing for Sixth Form

At Lydiard Park Academy we believe it is vital for students to prepare as much as possible for their sixth form courses.
Background reading and becoming familiar with the syllabi are very useful before starting courses in September.

For this reason, sixth form departments have put together bridging work for prospective students to do before enrolling onto courses.  The bridging work is designed to prepare students for sixth form study so that they can start their courses ahead of the game.  The work varies from department to department and includes details about the syllabus and assessment as well as a task to complete for the very first lesson in September.
