Hampton Court Palace Trip 2016

On the 20th June, 27 year 7 students visited Hampton Court Palace and enjoyed a workshop session about Elizabeth I, a tour around the palace and finally getting lost in the maze.

In the workshop we found out how Elizabeth I caused a crisis by not having an heir when she had smallpox then the students had to deliver a speech about who she be the next queen based on evidence they were given.

A tour of the many rooms of the palace was very interesting as was the visited to the shop where some interesting souvenirs were purchased before we headed out to explore the gardens and finally the maze.

A good day was had by all, and the sun even decided to make an appearance after lunch.
