The last week in September for LPA was languages week where all students were encouraged to take more of an international point of view on the things they were studying.
Teachers enjoyed pointing out the international elements of their courses and some year 7 students ended up doing far more Spanish in their Art lesson then they had expected. For session 6 each day, students taught and attended beginner lessons in Japanese, Arabic, British Sign Language and Chinese. To top it all off there was FOOD!! Cakes, a Spanish café on Friday ¡viva las idiomas! Students also took part in online House competitions and tutor quizzes. All involved had a lot of fun and we look forward to next year being even bigger and better!
