Pupils initially apply in Year 6 or will be invited to join throughout their time at Lydiard Park. The group members achievements will be reviewed on an annual basis, and those continuing to perform at the required level will maintain their place in the ‘Sport Academy’ program.

Pupils will attend active PSHE timetabled sessions, attend optional morning sessions and be supported with online recourses throughout the year. We actively encourage parental involvement and meet with parents and pupils to create a ‘Team You’, which is all about supporting the athlete.
