Army Take Over

On Monday 13th March the Army and Army Air Corps visited LPA to meet a group of year 10 pupils in an afternoon of military activities.

A minefield was installed in the Sports Hall, where pupils were paired up, one blindfolded, and verbally guided through the course.

In another corner a 'bomb in the bucket' challenge was set, where small groups had to work together with ropes only.

The third activity on rotation was flying a helicopter using the military simulator.

The afternoon ended with a Q and A session.

Everyone who participated enjoyed the activities and worked together well as a team.
