Calling All Readers

Starting from today to Wednesday 6th April, we will be running READATHON with KS3 at LPA. We’ll be logging the minutes we have read, the books we are reading and how much we’re enjoying them.

Prizes and reward points will be given to tutor groups who bank the most minutes read and individual superstar readers. As a school, we have a target of 3000 minutes - you can track our progress via the link- https://trackmyread.org/public/oXC74VsjHlutq6KskNdP.

Additionally, we are inviting students to be sponsored for their reading via the charity Read for Good, a charity that champions reading for fun. The they raise in sponsorship helps to provide a regular supply of brand new books and a resident storyteller to every major children’s hospital in the UK, including the BRI at Bristol.
