Principal’s Announcement

Lydiard Park Academy would like to share an important update with our school community.

After many rewarding years at LPA, our Principal, Gary Pearson, has announced that this academic year will be his final one in post. His last working day will be 31st August 2026.

In a message to staff, students, and families, he reflected on his time at the school:

“Serving as Principal of Lydiard Park Academy has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. Every day, I have been inspired by the ambition and kindness of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the unwavering support of our families and community. LPA is a truly special place, and I am immensely proud of all that we have achieved together. As I look ahead to my final months in the role, my commitment remains the same: to ensure a smooth transition and to keep the school’s focus firmly on providing the very best for every young person who walks through our doors.”

Over the coming months, the Principal will continue to work closely with The Park Academies Trust and the senior leadership team to ensure a smooth and well-planned transition. The school’s core focus remains unchanged: delivering the highest standards of education and securing continued success for all students.
